Wine Train crossing.

On the way home from work tonight, I had to stop on Jefferson Street in order to let the Wine Train cross traffic.  It was hot and I was tired, but I didn't really mind because I'm quite fond of trains and I like seeing this particular train in action.  Besides, it was fun to see the happy, most probably inebriated, tourists hanging off the end car waving to anybody and everybody in the hopes that someone might possibly wave back.  So, I waved.

When waiting for ships to go through crossing as they left Birkenhead docks I always waved and was slightly jealous of just where the crew where going.

Well, I know where these people were going...the depot...but I still envied them their train ride :)

V-Girl, there's just something special about people who make faces at babies at the check-out, truckers who blow their horns when kids on the street give them the signal to do so, or just plain folk who wave at happy-souls on a "wine" train.

"No man is an island,
Entire of itself.
Each is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main."

NHW: Happy people make me happy :)
BTW, nice Donne quote.

Wine Train: does that mean it uses wine instead of electricity for fuel?

Thanks for waving back :)

Thomas: If that were the case, I wonder how many miles you'd get out of a tank of Two Buck Chuck...

Unknown: No, thank you for initiating the wave in the first place - and welcome to Vinsanity.
Are you a known unknown?
