Happy Halloween.

Nothing says Halloween in these parts like a spicy Napa Zinfandel, spicy Napa pumpkin seed brittle...and a few cheesy, little pumpkin decorations.
Happy Halloween.

Halloween; what coutries without a good juicy bit of history like Guy Fawkes Night have to get up to in the autumn.

British version: "Penny for the Guy, sir?" - "Yes, why not; a sign that we value our democracy so highly"

American version: "Trick or treat?" - "I'm sorry, I don't have any sweets in the house" - "We'll take money" - "Sorry, no deal" - "Pity about your greenhouse, then"....

Idle...I love guy fawkes night but in many places in England it has degenerated into a night of local terrorism, here halloween is all encompassing, benign and shared by all.Vinogirl and I will be having a little celebration on the 5th though.

Halloween was remarkably quiet over in Two Dogs.No kids at all; never mind any teen-terrorists.I don't think Bommie Night will be so obliging.I think it's time for some 'jellies' for Jack the cross-terrier.

P.S. Any idea how I can get my flag counter to show all my flags, not just the top 12?

Villager: Thank you, same to you too.

Idle: I do my best to observe Bonfire night...fire pit for this Thursday...it's a little dry in Cal. for a bonfire!

Monkey: Thanks, right back at you!

Lord Roby: Did Jack dress up?

M'Lord, help is at hand...go to customise, open your gadget (Flagcounter), and change the 'max flags' to whatever you wish (mine is set at 60.)
