Rate My Sausage.

Everybody likes a nice sausage, right?  If you have a couple of spare minutes today click on this (sausage) link (d'ya get it?) and have a peep at my guest post on  Rate My Sausage - a blog devoted to all things saucisson.
And if you happen to be in downtown Napa, or San Francisco, stop by The Fatted Calf Charcuterie and treat yourself to something deliciously meaty.

V-girl, the fat was always God's portion, but I'll be satisfied with listening to the elderly lady in the movie "Cash-back" and watching the two English blokes behind the counter.
My guess is that Thud has seen this movie, but you, not so much.

Great post over on the sausage post. This is a big bear of mine here in Northern California, have not been able to find good snozzies - what on earth do they put in them here?

I'm getting thirsty just reading your snausage post. Best part is sharing with the beasts. Woof!

I hate to sound nationalistic but, in all my travels to the USA, I NEVER had a good sausage. And the 'sausage patty' - ugh! An oxymoron that rivals 'chicken bacon', a sausage is a sausage, and a patty is a patty.

Having said that, I'll revise my opinion now I've read your review in Rate My Sausage - maybe Americans CAN make a proper snorker after all! I might add that my son in Chicago, being desperate for a proper snorker, has started making his own!

NHW: Like me Thud has probably not even heard of it. I shall IMDB it post haste.

ALW: I know, I tried eating them once but was thoroughly disgusted.

SS: Welcome to Vinsanity. My poochies do indeed get human food on occasion - I'm a bad, bad dog-mum!

Affer: I know, what the suffering Jesus are patties? Why not just call them pork-fat (with heavy emphasis on the fat bit) burgers! Good on your lad for making his own.

Thud: I'm surprised you have never thought about making your own sausages, you carnivore you.

I can imagine a blog of that name having somewhat limited scope for posting.

My wife loves a sausage in cider btw.

EK: Welcome to Vinsanity (you can't spend all your time at Over The Water).
I have never heard of sausages in cider, so I Googled it. First result was a recipe from a book called Cooking with Booze - enough said!

Ah. You obviously didn't say it out loud.

Perhaps my bawdy humour is better left over at Thud's.

EK: And thank you Frankie Howard! No, I didn't say it out loud. Thud pointed out to me how thick I was, and then I got it. Ooh er, missus!
