Summer reading.
I should be well into the pile of books I put aside for my summer reading by now, but I'm a little behind. I have however started with the book on top - Garlic, Wine and Olive Oil by Thomas Pellechia - and I am quite enjoying it. How could I not, it is a book about three of my favourite things; garlic, wine, and olive oil...yum. If only it had a chapter about dogs.

Ha! Here's the sequel:
I notice that puppies will lick wine form my fingers but as they age they lose interest. I did, however, have one dog that slurped sparkling wine throughout her life.
All my dogs get a little garlic in their food (controls worms) and every dog I've ever had has loved olive oil, especially when sardines or anchovies are packed with it!
Thomas: Offering the Vinodogs my glass of wine at dinner is sure to stop them begging at the table :) And you're right, olive oil is always a big hit.
Re: Vinofictions - where is Nick's vineyard dog?
maybe two little princesses are the cause of your distraction.
Vinogirl, that's a good question. We'll have to fix that later.
Monkey: Not just the princesses, there's a lot of other stuff to do.
Thomas: Cool, I see a poochy in Nick's future.
Oh, a book about me: Idiot starting and running a winery!
Craig, there are a lot of us idiots out there!
