What wine goes with...No. 5.

...Scouse? Nothing! For God's sake, who would pair wine with a good plate of Scouse? And, it was indeed a great rendition of a classic Liverpool dish...thanks Thud!

Surely, to go with Scouse, it would be any wine that was stolen?

(Ooops! Sorry! Feeble attempt at stereotypical satirical wit........)

OK, Someone must tell me what goes into a good Scouse, and how--or should that be why?

Affer...some of us are sterotypes although I am absent a curly perm.

what does go into Scouse? Is it local to Liverpool? or can you find it elsewhere in England? Are you going to the Grapes? so many questions! I am so envious!

Affer: You're just jealous: being Scousers didn't seem to hurt The Beatles any :)

Thomas: It's basically Irish stew. Meat (in this case sirloin and mince - was traditionally mutton), carrots, onions, potatoes, Oxo cubes, salt & pepper. Ta ra!...you have yourself a pan of Scouse. It's the reason Liverpudlians are called Scousers, because you know we eat it all the time (see Affer's stereotype above).

Thud: Thank goodness you let that grow out Kidda.

2B: Scouse, see above.
The Grapes, not enough time, still on baby watch...
