It was a beautiful day to begin harvesting. With the temperature hovering around the 72 °F mark lunch on the deck, after a busy morning, of a modified Caprese salad and garlic bread was just what the Vinomaker ordered. To drink? Wine? Nah, beer!

buona vendemmia! :)
Good picking, good luck.
You got yesterday's harvest wish...
Never mind the picking - what a lovely-looking salad. When all the brand advertising drives us towards sauce-with-everything, it's easy to forget simple, tasty salads! Hope you had a good beer with it - not some American Fizz that Bro Thud would have despised....
Thud: Thanks. Wish you were here.
Thomas: It was a bit late for the whites...hopefully the reds will be on time-ish!
Affer: Can't beat home grown tomatoes. The beer? This is a Miller Lite free-zone, so a Samuel Adams Boston Lager. Need to get out and buy some seasonal pumpkin ales.
Them Toms look great. happy harvest.
Monkey, they taste even better!
Vinogirl, you have made this look delicious!
