Enjoyed this bottle of rosé last night, purchased from the supermarket chain Tesco. Deeply pink and very fruity it was delightful. Thud and I enjoyed a bottle of the red version of this wine, from the same producer, about a week ago. I have to say I think I could become very fond of any wine, red or rosé, made from this Sicilian grape variety. I shall have to explore further.

That's because pink Nero D'Avola is often so close to red that you might not know the difference when tasting it blind.
Good find. Nero D'Avola's a clever little grape. Maybe I should venture to Tesco more often.

There's a lot of pink stuff surfacing here too VG. Had a pinky Barbera d'Asti from Araldica the other day and it was actually rather good.
Thud: I think you should buy more whilst Tesco have it. It was lovely, very cherry.

Cesar: The pink, and it's red counterpart, would well be worth a visit to Tesco.
You're welcome about the weather...I can't believe in 19 days I have had only one rain day and even that wasn't that bad!

I think pink wines are wonderful, especially on a sunny California day when you want a little something more than just a chilled white.
Will you please let me send you a bottle of Cerasuolo di Vittoria? Nero d'Avola and Frappato... I'd be happy to...
Also, Negroamaro: the greatest Italian red grape from which to squeeze pink!
