27 degrees F out right now...this is the coldest day so far this season. My poor vines are white with frost, so much so that it almost looks like a sprinkling of snow. The vines don't mind these low temps, they are mostly dormant now. The same cannot be said for Vinomaker however. He's eating breakfast with a wooly hat on!
Cold, but so Christmassy. I love it.

Those vines will come good though.
Sounds perfect...vinomaker wears a wooly hat in summer so no real change there then.
Had my first wine tasting today.I tried 5 different ones in a 'degusation' at the local christmas market. One Cote de Rhone, one Cote de Blayes. Two whites and a wine called Madrigan.Bought 2,not a bad ratio for the Victualler.Just waiting for the right time to drink them. Also tried a champagne that lost its fizz instantly!! Even Asti keeps on bubbling to the end!Seems like a good way to make a living.
James Higham, welcome to Vinsanity.
Vines are amazing plants.
Thud...you're not kidding. Now it's raining, Tahoe getting dumped on.
M'Lord...sounds good. Bet the not-so-bubbly was Chardonnay mainly!
How did the Finals go Vinogirl?
Don't know yet Ron, always takes a while to get my grades. Two down, one to go...last exam, Thursday.
