Cephus Le Blanc.
When I first looked at this bottle of wine I did indeed think that it was called Cephus Le Blanc - a bottle of Appalachian moonshine perhaps? But no, it was a delightful 60/40 blend of Colombard and Ugni blanc from the Armagnac region of France. Crisp, refreshing and under $11...I think I just found my summer wine.

Oooh, I'm taking a note of that. Like the look of the bottle too. I don't think vintners put nearly enough effort into their labels
Well, VG, I have a host of Summer Wines on offer and they're all from Smooth Tony of course. Tonight's tipple is his Pinot Grigio, a pleasingly acidic number and far removed from the PGs one finds in the bars and pubs of deal old Blighty.
Whoops, that'll be the PG! It's dear old Blighty of course.
ALW: It was very nice, but I didn't buy it because of its label, the grape varieties caught my attention. Although it is supposed to be a typically girly thing to do, buy wine only because of the label that is, I must admit that I do buy wine from time to time simply because the label is attractive. Image is important, shallow maybe, but true.
Ron: PG and higher than average acidity...two of my favourite things! Smooth Tony? Please enlighten...
