Apparently the Vinodogs are not the only targets of Vinogirl's creativity when there is not much to do in the vineyard other than monitor grape development. In a more northernly climate we could have waited for snow to accompany Santa Grape's arrival. In the past, Vinogirl has resorted to flour for effect but I know she must have thought twice about how it might impact the wine. However, she is never short of ideas so stay tuned for the next winter scene post featuring a dusting of calcium carbonate which is normally used here to protect the grape clusters from sunburn!

Thud: I have festive grapevines, what can I say?

Trubes: Sounds lovely. Have a Happy Boxing Day.

VM: I was having a slow day and what else is a Vinogirl to do when she just happens to have a mini Santa hat in her pocket?
