Oh deer me!

It's amazing what you can find when you go out to the mailbox.
I just hope this antler belongs to the young buck that has been loitering in our creek bed and not to Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder, Blitzen, or God forbid, Rudolph! Who would deliver that magnum of Veuve Cliquot that I have on my Christmas wishlist?

I blame Vinomaker for it's demise...no doubt hit by a falling tree.

Thud: It wouldn't surprise me.

Weston: I have never had venison but it seems that you know the perfect wine pairing already!

You don't know how lucky you are Vinogirl.I went out to the mailbox and found a half eaten Doner Kebab!!

Well, I suppose that is half way festive M'Lord.

The moronic buck probably ran into the steel drain culvert and knocked off half of his doe appeal. Maybe natural selection will prevent him from becoming a father. Because the local human population protects these dumb grapevine terrorists, we have far more than we need, or want.

And Vinogirl, none of these long legged rodents masquerading as mule deer (Odocoileus hemionus) are likely to bring you anything besides fleas and ticks. You will have to rely on other sources for your bubbly desires!

Vinomaker, tell me how you really feel!
I will heed your advice about the delivery of the Widow however.

Vinomaker has nightmares about deer and oak trees...my dinner of venison on next trip should go some way to placatng him.
