Hoopla!

Woman are often criticised for buying a wine, merely because they find the label attractive. Guilty as charged.
The wine wasn't very good. A 2007 Napa Sauvignon blanc, definitely past it's best, this wine was slightly flabby with a metallic aftertaste. Good label though.

But it is a good label though.

I do approve of that puppish label. We should strive to emulate the exuberance of dogs in all our leisurely pursuits, don't you think?

Come to that, the whole prospect of selecting wines can be very intimidating.

Thud: It's a really good label.

Phlegmmy: Or...doggedly pursue pleasure! I'm with you, dogs can show us a thing or two about enjoying life.
And, don't be intimidated by wine...buying something a little iffy now and again can be quite fun.

it worked for us last night, when choosing a bottle thud simple picked the one with the nicest label and low and behold it was a cracker.

Monkey, other than choosing a particular producer, this system has worked for me, with some success, in the past.
