Harvest begins in Vinoland: 2010.

On the right, Pinot grigio. On the left, Red Globe (a table grape.)
Harvest 2010 began in Vinoland today. Better late than never!
The Pinot grigio may be small, but it's awfully cute...and tasty!

I get excited when I bottle my renowned plum brandy for Christmas....so the feeling when you start to harvest a whole vineyard must be fantastic! Good luck!

Affer: It is fun, but a lot of work.

Thud: No, posh farming is paying somebody else to do it for you.

Thanks 2B. Let's hope the 2010 vintage is kind to all the wine producing areas of the world.
